SNU Inks 29 On Signing Day

SNU signed 29 players in its 2015 recruiting class including 15 Oklahoma preps.<br/>

Signing Day saw 29 players sign National Letters of Intent with Southern Nazarene University as the Crimson Storm build for their 2015 football season. Here's a look at some of the headliners of the class. For a complete list go to snuathletics.com.

Jacoby Hicks played four varsity seasons at Victory Christian School in Tulsa, Okla., where he was selected as the District 3A-6 Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-VYPE, and Class 3A All-State

Bradley Mbu played two varsity years at Richmond (Texas) Foster High School, where he was named all-district second team as a senior. he registered 51 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, five sacks, one forced fumble, two fumbles recoveries, and also scored one defensive touchdown.

Myles Roll played three varsity seasons at Cypress (Texas) High School where he helped the Mustangs make the 6A state finals as a senior. He was named a team captain and had 124 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, one pass breakup, and seven quarterback pressures. He also had a 40.3 net punting average, went 4-of-4 on extra points, and 1-of-2 on field goals. As a junior, he was named a team captain and had 75 tackles, six tackles for a loss and three and a half sacks with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. As a sophomore, he registered 42 tackles.

J.R. Singleton played four varsity seasons at Fort Gibson (Okla.) High School where he was named 4A-4 Quarterback of the Year and All-Vype Quarterback as a senior. In his senior season he passed for 1,170 yards and ten touchdowns. He passed for 874 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for 691 yards and ten touchdowns as a junior. He totaled 1,689 yards passing and 16 touchdowns as a sophomore and ran for 890 yards and two touchdowns. As a freshman, he passed for 995 yards and 11 touchdowns and also rushed for 486 yards and six touchdowns.

Brady Smith played two varsity seasons at Kingfisher (Okla.) High School where he helped lead the Yellow Jackets to the state semi-finals as a senior. He also helped KHS win the state championship and go undefeated as a junior.

Dillon Twigg played four varsity seasons at Empire High School in Duncan, Okla., where he was named District A-4 Player of the Year as a senior. He was selected as Duncan Banner Player of the Year and set the Empire High School career rushing yards record with 5,906 yards. Twigg was named Duncan Banner Player of the Year and Lawton Constitution Player of the Year as a junior and rushed for 2,500 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Jacob Unsicker played two varsity seasons at Westmoore High School in Oklahoma City, Okla., where he was named all-district and all-city as a senior and was selected as the Westmoore Special Teams Player of the Year.
