Teen Arrested For Armed Robbery Of NW OKC 7-Eleven
OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma City teen is in hot water after being arrested for the armed robbery of a gas station on the northwest side of the metro.
Police arrested 18-year-old Brayden Arms Monday night after looking into the robbery of a 7-Eleven store located in the 10000 block of N. Council Rd. last week.
During that robbery on Jan. 20, the store clerk told police that a young white male entered the store wearing sweatpants, a dark shirt, a blue jacket and a gray bandana covering his face. The clerk said the robber pointed a gun at her and demanded she open the cash register.
The robbery was all caught on surveillance footage and that's how Arms was identified. Not because he was recognized while committing the robbery, but rather because the clerk said she saw him come in a half an hour before to buy a Big Gulp.
According to the clerk, there was only a stack of one dollar bills in the register at the time of the robbery. But now, this “Big Gulp Bandit” is facing a $20,000 bond for the felony charge of Robbery with a Firearm.
