Residents Evacuated After Fire Breaks Out At NW OKC Apartment Complex

Crews were able to put out a large fire at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.

Crews were able to put out a large fire at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were first called out to the Pheasant Run apartment complex, located at 6102 N. Meridian Ave., just south of NW 63rd St around 11 a.m.

Once on scene, crews reported seeing visible flames and heavy smoke is pouring from the roof of one of the apartment buildings.

All of the residents in that building were safely evacuated and crews were able to get the fire under control just before 11:30 a.m.

There have been no reports of injuries at this time. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
