The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Sperry man died after crashing his pickup Sunday evening.

Troopers said the one-vehicle crash happened just after 8 p.m. on 106th Street North west of Peoria.

The OHP says Michael Holcomb, 45, was driving his 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup east on 106th Street when it went off a curve and ran into some trees. Troopers said Holcomb was pinned in the wreckage for about an hour. He was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The OHP says Holcomb was not wearing his seat belt. An investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
