Authorities continue to search for an El Reno, Oklahoma, man who was wanted in connection to a violent domestic assault that happened back in August, 2014, in Oklahoma City.

A warrant has been issued for 29-year-old Taylor Elledge. According to police, on August 3, 2014, officers responded to the report of a domestic abuse at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. MacArthur in Oklahoma City. The victim said she had been beaten by her boyfriend, Elledge, and that she could not walk.

The assault began in the early morning hours of August 2. The victim told police that Elledge came home drunk and dragged her to the back bedroom. He reportedly punched her multiple times and threw her against the wall. The victim said Elledge told her that she was going to die.

Elledge, police said, then kicked the victim numerous times and choked her until she passed out. When the victim woke up, she said Elledge took her cell phone and would not allow her to leave.

Elledge reportedly kept the victim in the bedroom for about three hours before carrying her to the living room.

The next morning, police said a friend came to the house and knocked on the front door. Elledge carried the victim back to the bedroom and laid her on the bed so that the friend could not see her through the window. At some point after the friend was allowed inside the house, Elledge left. The friend eventually found the victim in the back bedroom and called police.

The victim told police this wasn't the first time Elledge had abused her.

Police said Elledge has been on the run and has an active warrant for his arrest. He is known to frequent the El Reno area, where he has family. They consider Elledge to be a dangerous man and ask the public to call 911 immediately if they know where he is.

Elledge was driving a newer model black Chevy Tahoe with black rims.

If you know his whereabouts, please call 911 (if it requires an immediate response) or Crime Stoppers (405)-235-7300 (with general info).
