Authorities arrested three people following a pursuit and a short manhunt in Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office, at about 9:30 a.m., a deputy was in the area of W. Sheridan Avenue and N. Villa when he saw a vehicle with an expired tag. The deputy attempted to stop the car, but the driver refused to stop and took off at a high rate of speed.

The pursuit ended at N.W. 10th Street and N. Classen when the driver of the car stopped. Three people inside the vehicle ran off on foot, but the deputy was able to immediately take one passenger, 30-year-old Ashley Everitt, into custody.

The driver, 34-year-old Joseph Hensley, and the second passenger of the vehicle, 41-year-old Leonard Stowe, were found a short time later by Oklahoma City police officers.

While searching the car, deputies found a shotgun, some methamphetamine, and several other items.

Hensley faces a number of complaints, including eluding an officer, possession of a firearm after felony conviction, possession of a weapon while committing a felony, obstructing an officer, driving with a suspended license, failure to carry insurance, improper tag display and failure to wear a seat belt.

Stowe was booked into the jail on a complaint of obstructing an officer. And Everitt was booked in on one count of  possession of drugs and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She also has an outstanding warrant for possession of drugs.
