Oklahoma City police are looking for two suspects who used a fraudulent check to purchase a ring worth $2100.

According to police, on Monday, January 5, Oklahoma City Police White Collar Crimes investigators were notified of an incident that had occurred in December, 2014 at CJ's Jewelers, located at 8200 S. Western.

At about noon on December 14, police said a male and a female walked into the business, looked around for about 45 minutes and finally decided to purchase a ring. About two weeks later, the employee was notified that the check written for the ring was fraudulent and that no such account existed.

Investigators have followed up on all possible leads, but do not have the suspects identified.

On Friday, January 9, police released surveillance photos of the suspects taken at the business.

The first suspect is described as a white male with short hair. He was wearing a long sleeved dark shirt. The second suspect is described as a white female who was wearing a pink hoodie.

Police said the suspects were driving a black Chrysler 300 with black wheels. If you have any information on this case you're asked to call Crime Stoppers (405)-235-7300.
