Temperatures Monday were warmer than what we had this weekend, but that doesn't say much. It looks like the colder air will be sticking around for a while. A cold front comes through overnight shifting our wind to the north. Temperatures will fall to the mid-20's by Tuesday morning. Our north wind becomes quite blustery in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Highs will reach into the upper 30's, but it will likely feel around 10 degrees cooler than the actual air temperature.
Clouds increase Tuesday night, but that won't help our numbers much. We plummet to the upper Tuesday night with wind chills in the lower single digits.
The coldest of the cold air arrives Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. We will start in the upper single digits on Thursday with wind chill values flirting with zero at times. Highs will make it around freezing later in the day. Spend as little time outside during this timeframe as possible.
