Thursday evening we can expect a slight chance of drizzle or freezing drizzle as temperatures fall just below freezing.

Overnight, temperatures will be steady in the upper 20s to low 30s as conditions remain mainly dry with just a slight chance of freezing drizzle. So, slick spots on the roads will be possible overnight.

Friday, the next storm system moves in with freezing rain developing across the area from southwest to northeast. Temperatures through the morning will remain in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees.

By Friday afternoon, warmer temperatures will move in from the south as portions of central and eastern Oklahoma will climb above freezing.

The temperatures in Western Oklahoma will likely stay at or below freezing through Friday, giving higher chances of more ice amounts. Some ice will be possible on the roads especially during the morning hours. Elevated surfaces like trees, power lines and bridges will see the greatest accumulations.

Temperatures will be very crucial over the next 24 to 36 hours across the state with rain adding up over ¾ of inch in places.

Saturday morning, the precipitation will be leaving the state with just some left over snow showers across northwest Oklahoma.
