Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Warns Of Phone Scam
CLEVELAND COUNTY, Oklahoma - The Cleveland County Sheriff's office is warning against a phone scam.
According to the Sheriff's office, Tuesday afternoon, a citizen called the department to report that they had received a phone call from a man claiming to be a Sheriff's office employee.
The suspect reportedly told the citizen that they missed a court date and that they owed money. The Sheriff's office said the suspect called from (405)-240-1430.
If you receive a phone call from this person, hang up and report it to law enforcement immediately.
