According to police, officers responded to the robbery just before 4 a.m. at the Conoco on Britton Road near the Broadway Extension.

A clerk told police that the suspect walked into the store, grabbed a can of Red Bull, and came to the counter. However, when the clerk was scanning the Red Bull, the suspect jumped over the counter, pointed a box cutter at the clerk, and said, “This is a robbery. Open the register.”
