Cashion High School will play in the 3A state title game for the first time ever.
Former students came forward to help give the team an edge on game day.
Two years ago, budget cuts forced Cashion High to cut its band program.
Former band members that graduated years ago have stepped up to play for the final game in Enid Friday.
"I wanted to bring spirit back into the football team," said former band member Tyler Persechimo, who organized the group.
Some people haven't played music in decades.
"I'm really excited, super excited," says Amber, a 2006 graduate.
Despite having to drop the program, the school still has a lot of the instruments and music.
Former band members have been able to check out instruments and practice at home.
The group of about 25 people held two practices this week and will play in the stands Friday.
