OKLAHOMA CITY - The cloudy and drizzly mess will continue in Oklahoma Wednesday evening and right into Thursday.

An umbrella may be needed at times under a light east breeze Wednesday evening. A few showers could develop late Wednesday night, southeast of the metro, but most of the precipitation will be on the light side.

Temperatures really won't fall much as we'll bottom out overnight in the 40s for most of the state.

For Thursday we can expect more cloudy skies as south winds picks up during the afternoon. Some spotty showers will start to develop by late Thursday afternoon. Highs will be warmer than Wednesday and will top out into the middle to upper 50s.

Thursday night into Friday our weather system swings through the area with our best chance of measurable rainfall. This still doesn't look like a widespread heavy rain event, but some rain and a few T-Storms could develop, with the best chances of rain being across central and northern Oklahoma.

Highs will reach the 50s & 60s on Friday with a cold front arriving during midday to bring in more north winds. Sunshine returns over the weekend with temperatures in the 50s.
