Jenks Police: Missing Man's Body Found

Police say the body of a missing man has been found in a car parked outside the Glenpool Walmart. The cause of death is not yet known, but they do not suspect foul play.

Police have located a 29-year-old man who was last seen visiting his father in Jenks over Thanksgiving. Family members had been unable to contact Matthew Meeks after he visited his father's home at about 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014.

His body was found Wednesday in his car parked outside the Glenpool Walmart. The cause of death is under investigation, but authorities don't suspect foul play.

Jenks Police had been unable to find anyone who had contact with Meeks since November 24. His passport was left behind; there had been no credit card transactions since that date, and his cell phone went directly to voice mail.

His rental car, a 2014 Mustang, had not been returned to the car agency.
