A popular Thanksgiving weekend tradition looks like it's past its prime. This year, the number of people camped out for Black Friday deals is almost non-existent so far.

“It's been a little more active and little more fun in previous years,” said Bill Payne, who was the only person in line outside Best Buy on Memorial Rd. in NW OKC as of Wednesday afternoon.

Since Payne is the only one in line, he's been the able to sleep in his truck. He arrived on Monday in hopes of getting a 50 inch LED TV for $200.

Payne said he has no regrets showing up as early as Monday and being the only one in line for the door-buster prize.

Best Buy, which opens Thanksgiving evening, thinks he'll have company by Wednesday night.
