Court documents showed a former band director at Hefner Middle School will not serve time behind bars.

Members of the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested Mowery at his home in Oklahoma City in 2012 for possession and distribution of child pornography.

The case was first initiated by a Guthrie police officer conducting an undercover investigation into the sharing of child pornography over the Internet.

According to the investigation, Mowery distributed several files containing pornographic images of children to a Guthrie police officer.

Hundreds of child porn pictures were found in Mowery's home, investigators said.

He was convicted this week and sentenced to serve 15 years of probation, according to court records.
