A 3.6 magnitude earthquake shook up residents near Guthrie, in Logan County, Tuesday afternoon.

The quake was recorded at approximately 4:04 p.m. Its epicenter was located two miles south of Guthrie, or about 26 miles north of the Oklahoma City metro, at a depth of just under three miles.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this quake.

A larger earthquake rumbled near Medford, Okla. earlier on Tuesday. That quake weighed in at a 4.0 on the Richter scale and was recorded just before 9 a.m.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with earthquakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
