The Muskogee Police Department says an elderly woman was the victim of two home invasions - and was pistol whipped during one.

Three men kicked in the back door of the woman's home in the 2600 block of West Okmulgee on Saturday, November 22, 2014, according to Muskogee Police Sergeant Michael Mahan. One of the men pointed a gun at her and demanded money.

"The victim, who is 83 years old and hard of hearing, did not understand what the attacker was demanding. The attacker then struck the victim in the face with the gun," Mahan said in a news release.

The men got away with money, and on Monday night, the woman was robbed again, this time by two men.

Police say the intruder who pistol whipped the elderly woman is described as a possible black male, about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a ski mask and gray hooded sweatshirt. The other two men were wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts with their heads and faces covered by the hoods.

Those men were seen leaving with two other men in an "older, rusty-colored truck," the release states.

Again on Monday, four to five men were seen around the victim's home.

Muskogee Police ask anyone with information about these crimes to call 918-638-8000 or Muskogee Crime Stoppers at 918-682-COPS.
