I'll just come right out and say it. Everyone's wondering about our Sunday snowfall. Look no further...

Today's temperatures will rise into the 40s and 50s with partly cloudy skies. Not a bad day, despite wind chills in the 30s this afternoon. The cold front will move into northwestern Oklahoma this afternoon, setting the stage for tomorrow.

Firstly, tomorrow will NOT be a huge, menacing blizzard. Some winter mix, some snow, and a very cold wind. Nothing we haven't seen before in OKC.

We could see some light snow in northwest Oklahoma as early as tonight around 10 PM. After midnight, the snow will spread into more of northern Oklahoma. OKC, we'll start with a bit of a winter mix around 3 AM. That mix will hang around past sunrise before eventually transitioning to all snow by late morning and early afternoon. Visibility will likely drop and roads will start to become slick. The snow will wind down across the state from NW to E throughout the afternoon.

After it's all said and done, amounts will range from a trace or dusting to potentially 2.5" in parts of northern Oklahoma. Slick roads will be the biggest concern in northern Oklahoma. Roads will likely be slick in OKC as well, so if you have plans to be out and about on Sunday, it may be best to stay at home.

Temperatures will stay cold Monday after the snow moves out. We'll be back in the 50s by Wednesday and Thursday!
