Lincoln County Courthouse Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The Lincoln County courthouse in Chandler, Okla. was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat, Thursday afternoon.

The Lincoln County courthouse in Chandler, Okla. was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat, Thursday afternoon.

According to Lincoln County Emergency Management, the bomb threat was called in to a judge's chambers.

Similar threats were made at other courthouses in three other counties around Oklahoma on Wednesday. The Cleveland, Creek and Grady County courthouses were all evacuated due to those threats.

The Oklahoma County bomb squad was called to make a sweep of the building. As of 5 p.m., Lincoln County authorities tell News 9 they were given the 'all clear'.
