According to police, officers originally responded to the report of a stabbing near the school. When they arrived at the scene, police learned that a student had threatened another one with a knife.

According to authorities, at about 9:30 a.m., two senior students got into a fight in the cafeteria of the school over "school issues." One student pulled out a knife during the fight.
