A Duncan newspaper publisher, his wife and his daughter were found dead inside their Duncan home. Now a police investigation to find the cause is underway.

A candlelight vigil was held in the parking lot of the Duncan high school as police detectives remain processing the crime scene.

Candlelight illuminated the faces of those who knew the Hruby family, and there are a lot them. John Hruby was the publisher of the Marlow Review. His wife, Tinker, wrote for the paper. And their 17-year-old daughter Katherine helped deliver papers in her hometown of Duncan where the family lived.

"She was just such a great person and a great friend…to all of us," said

Katherine was a junior at Duncan High School and was on the varsity volleyball team. Her teammates and class members held a vigil Monday night to remember the family.

While many candles lit up the parking lot, little clues are being released by authorities as to how the family died. They are only confirming three people were found dead inside the Hruby home and that they're working the case as a homicide.

But the staff at the Marlow Review is speaking about their publisher. And they say they knew something was terribly wrong when he never showed up to work and text messages to him went unanswered.

Police are not saying much about their investigation, but The Marlow Review posted a message, identifying the victims:

“At this time, The Marlow Review asks the general public for prayers following the tragic deaths of John Hruby, our publisher, his wife Tinker, and their daughter Katherine. Our staff endeavors to continue to serve Marlow to the best of our ability going forward. Thank you.”

Flower arrangements continue to grow on the paper stand outside and candle after candle is lit in hopes of shedding light on who could have committed the crime and why this happened.

The couple also has a son who is college. News 9 asked authorities where he is in all this, or if he's in custody, and we were told "no comment."
