Charity Dinner To Raise Money For McLoud Fire Department, Children's Miracle Network

A charity dinner will be hosted to help raise money for the McLoud Fire Department and the Children's Miracle network.

The fire department is teaming up with Love's Country store in McLoud to host a charity dinner at the McLoud Masonic Lodge, located at 1100 W. Broadway, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 21.

The proceeds of the dinner will be split. Half of the proceeds will go to the fire department fund, and the other half will go to the Children's Miracle Network.

Te fire department is working to raise money to build a south station, which officials said will better serve the southern area of its 66-square-mile district. It will also improve the ISO rating.

Love's Country store is also raising money for the Children's Miracle Network. Organizers said all the money raised for that stays in the state for the children's hospital.
