A man was arrested overnight after leading police on a high-speed chase through the metro.

According to Oklahoma City police, the chase started just before 1 a.m. Saturday near N. Pennsylvania Avenue and Highland Park Drive.

Police said the man ran a red light and then led officers on a 25-minute pursuit with speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.

The chase ended when the man crashed the truck into a ditch near N.E. 41st Street and N. Anderson Road in Spencer, according to Oklahoma City police.

Officers said the man was arrested quickly after he attempted to run away.

The man faces charges including attempting to elude police and several traffic violations.
