The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake in Grant County Saturday afternoon.

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake was reported at 1:54 p.m. Saturday, 13 miles south of Medford, 17 miles northeast of Enid, 34 miles west of Ponca City and 79 miles north of Oklahoma City. The depth measured more than three miles.

There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.

According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
