The leak of naked celebrity pictures has caused a lot of concern about privacy and online security. Now, the Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma is sending out warnings about those celebrity pictures.

Scammers might be using the photos to trick consumers into clicking on links to fraudulent websites. They also are using fake celebrity deaths to lure people to fake websites.

The "click bait" scheme leads to mal-ware that can lead to identity theft.

You're encouraged to use good judgment on social media and to report anything that looks bogus to Facebook, Twitter or the BBB.
