Police have arrested a suspect wanted in a string of armed robberies in south Oklahoma City. 

According to police, Richard Dawon Darrinton, 27, was arrested Thursday afternoon at his home after investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Darrinton is accused of robbing four convenience stores at gunpoint, including Valero at 2701 S. Shields, Q Mart at 535 S.E. 59th, Circle K at 1449 S.E. 25th, and T and H Discount Cigarette at 300 S.W. 59th.

Darrinton has been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on two counts of attempted robbery with a firearm and three counts of robbery with a firearm.
