Vinita Police Officer Arrested For Lewd Acts With A Child

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a Vinita police officer on charges of lewd acts with a child.

According to the OSBI, Thursday morning, agents arrested 35-year-old Sean Floyd at the Vinita Police Department on multiple counts of lewd molestation with a child under the age of 16.

Floyd, authorities said, worked at the Vinita Police Department as a police officer. He was booked into the Craig County Jail.

On August 18, the Craig County Sheriff’s office requested the OSBI's help to investigate allegations that Floyd was having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 16.

Currently, agents believe only one victim was involved. However, the investigation is ongoing.
