An Oklahoma man was killed Thursday afternoon in a Le Flore County collision, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Donnie Fryhover of Monroe was behind the wheel of a 2004 Ford F-350 truck, eastbound on Highway 59 near Rhino Road just after 1 p.m. He slowed to make a left turn into a private drive. A 2003 Freightliner truck that was following Fryhover tried to pass the pickup and struck it in the driver's door, a collision report states.

Fryhover, 64, died at the scene of massive injuries. The driver of the Freightliner, 57-year-old Fort Smith resident David Webb, was not injured.

Troopers say the Webb was in apparently normal condition before the wreck. Spiro Fire Department worked the accident.
