Police Investigate Shooting That Injured One In SW OKC

Oklahoma City police are investigating a shooting that injured one person Wednesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the report of a shooting near Interstate 240 and Blackwelder. A male victim told police he was walking on the service road in front of a 7-11 store when a car pulled up.

The victim said he spoke with those inside the car. That's when shots were fired.

The victim was shot and has been transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. 

Police said they do not have any suspect information at this time.
