Police are looking for suspects involved in a home invasion of a local business owner in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to a report, approximately four suspects entered the home Joseph Rischard, owner of JR's Bar & Grill, late Friday night.

While Rischard, a man in his mid-70s, was sleeping in a recliner, he says the men struck him in the forehead, held an object against the side of his head and demanded cash.

The suspects ransacked the home, emptying drawers and a bedroom safe. Two cars were also plundered during the home invasion. At one point they even tried to gain access to a 2-bedroom apartment Rischard was renting out in his garage to an employee.

That employee lived in the apartment with his wife and two children, but the burglars were unable to get inside. The employee said he heard the burglars attempting to pry open the door, but they left when they heard him coming. He did not get a description.

Rischard was taken to OU-Presbyterian Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At least two items were taken from the home including Rischard's cell phone and a gold Rolex watch.

Also believed to be stolen is a black revolver missing from the victim's bedroom and a duffle bag containing a large sum of cash. Police could not confirm either item was stolen.

Police have not determined a motive for the home invasion. If you have any information regarding this robbery, please call police immediately.
