Energy Goalkeeper Makes USL PRO Team Of The Week

OKC Energy FC goalkeeper Jon Kempin was named to the USL PRO Team of the Week for Week 12 of the 2014 season on Tuesday following his performance this past weekend against the Wilmington Hammerheads.

Kempin played a solid 90 minutes in net for the Energy Friday evening in the first of back-to-back matches as Energy drew 1-1 with Wilmington to earn a point. Kempin's five-save performance tied for his personal-best this season. He previously had five saves against the LA Galaxy II on May 25.

Orlando City's Brian ‘Cobi' Span was named player of the week.

Energy FC returns to action on Saturday, June 14 against Sacramento Republic SC. Match time is set for 7 p.m. CT at Pribil Stadium.
