FBI Seeks Suspect In Edmond Bank Robbery

The Federal Bureau of Investigation Oklahoma City Division is asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect in an Edmond bank robbery.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation Oklahoma City Division is asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect in an Edmond bank robbery.

The robbery took place around 4:50 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the ONB Bank, located at 1358 E. 15th Street in Edmond.

According to the FBI, surveillance video showed a white male entering the bank, approaching the teller counter and pulling his jacket back to show a semi-automatic pistol tucked in his waistband.

FBI agents said the suspect demanded money, and the teller complied.

The suspect was described as a white male, mid 40s, light brown hair, pony tail, mustache, standing around 6', weighing about 220 lbs., medium build, wearing a black Nike jacket with the Oklahoma State logo, dark jeans and carrying a semi-automatic pistol, according to surveillance photos and witness descriptions.

The release states the suspect was last seen heading westbound on E. 15th Street.

The FBI said no one was injured in this robbery.

According to the FBI, the Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
