The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.3 magnitude earthquake in Oklahoma County Monday evening.
At 6:08 p.m. Monday, a quake was recorded 4 miles northeast of Edmond, 10 miles south of Guthrie, at a depth of over three miles.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
