A former Edmond police officer will stand trial on charges of stealing from an evidence locker.

Benjamin Northcutt, 36, faces grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing $8,000 from the Edmond Police Department. The money was confiscated during a drug investigation last year.

A witness said that Northcutt was caught acting suspicious on video entering the evidence room 14 times.

Northcutt denies taking the money.
