Frightening moments for a store clerk when a beer run quickly turned into an armed robbery last week.
Police need our help finding the suspects.
The store owner says his mart has been hit up three times, and each time, the robbers always steal the same type of beer. But what made the last robbery different was that the robber pulled out a gun.
It was business as usual at the Supermart at 15th and Durland Ave. in Southeast Oklahoma City. But it was a much different scene a week ago on Cinco de Mayo when two men showed up to the store and the one with the gun was dressed in a blue Kevin Durant jersey.
Store owner MD Hossain says the men knew exactly what they were doing.
"Maybe he thinks, he'll buy something, but he had a plan," Hossain said.
Hossain was re-stocking drinks in the back room during the robbery and says he didn't see anything, but he did see his co-worker on the ground calling for help.
"Somebody opens the door and pulls out the gun, my friend was over there, and he says lay down on the floor," he said.
The suspect in the white T-shirt and ball-cap runs out the store with two 30-pack cases of Budweiser while his friend holds the door open and points a pistol at the clerk.
"Nobody was hurt, thankfully, no shots were fired," said Sgt. Gary Knight of Oklahoma City Police.
With the suspects still on the loose, Hossain says he's scared it could happen again.
"I am making money, ok, the $45 doesn't matter, but he took out the gun, that's why I'm mad," Hossain said.
Oklahoma City Police say if you have any information, call their Crime Stoppers line at 235-7300.
