A joint investigation between the Attorney General's office and Homeland Security uncovers a major drug operation going on in the heart of Bethany.

The search warrant reveals a home in a residential neighborhood along the 5700 block of North Central in Bethany was a hub of drug activity.

Inside, authorities found more than $10,000 cash, several prescription pain pills and more than three rams of black tar heroin.

Bethany police arrested John Mitchell Wallace in Bethany for a warrant he was wanted on out of Dallas, Texas late last month. Authorities started monitoring his calls and discovered he was indeed part of a money laundering and drug operation.

We've learned Wallace is currently in a Dallas county jail to face the drug charges he is wanted on out there. He will then be transferred back to Oklahoma to face drug charges here.

He is currently being held on a $25,000 bond.

According to the search warrant, this all came about thanks to a tip by a confidential informant.
