Police Investigate After Body Found Buried At Norman Home

Police are investigating after a body was found buried at a home in Norman on Tuesday.

According to police, a body was found buried at a home in the 6800 block of E. Robinson.

On April 17, officers received a request for a welfare check on a resident at that home. After not being able to confirm the welfare of the person, officers filed a missing person report, according to police.

On Tuesday, April 29, police say a body was found buried in the backyard of the home. The exact cause and manner of death has not been determined at this time.

Police have not identified the person pending notification of family members.
