The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals says it will not delay the executions of two death row inmates, paving the way for the state's first double execution since 1937.
The court on Friday denied a request for a stay that had been filed earlier in the day by attorneys for Clayton Lockett and Charles Warner. They also asked the court to find the state Supreme Court ruled in error earlier in the week when it said that the inmates aren't entitled to more information about the drugs to be used in the execution.
