Lost in the shuffle of Wednesday night's playoff drama was another milestone for Kevin Durant.

For the fourth season in five years, Durant is the NBA's scoring champion.  KD averaged 32 points per game, finishing well ahead of the second-place Carmelo Anthony, who averaged 27.4 per game.

Durant scored 42 points on Wednesday to help lift the Thunder past the pesky Detroit Pistons.

"There's no question we are seeing an amazing player develop in front of our eyes," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said of Durant earlier this season.  "That's one of the big reasons why I started wearing my glasses during the game, so that I could see that.  He's an amazing young man that takes a lot of pride in what he does, and how he plays, and how he represents our city.  He was raised the right way, he cares about doing the right things.  Smart player, a great player, great teammate.  I love the guy and I'm proud of the way he represents us and he does it every night."
