One Arrested, One On The Run After Police Chase In SE OKC

One suspect is in custody and another is on the run after a police chase in southeast Oklahoma City, Saturday night.

Investigators tell News 9 the chase started as an armed robbery and carjacking of a pizza delivery driver. A OKCPD gang unit was near SE 55^th St. and Parker. They located the vehicle in question and a short pursuit ensued.

The chase ended in a crash near SE 44^th St. and Bryant Ave. The suspect's vehicle crashed into a natural gas line, causing a major leak in the neighborhood. That leak has since been capped.

One suspect was arrested at the scene, but a second suspect managed to escape on foot. Police have not identified the suspect they have in custody, nor have they released a description of the suspect who is on the run.

A gun was recovered inside the suspects' vehicle. No other information has been released at this time.
