Anton Lander and Brad Hunt each had a goal and two assists as the Oklahoma City Barons downed the San Antonio Rampage 5-2 Tuesday night at the Cox Convention Center.

Lander scored the deciding goal late in the first period when he received a cross-ice pass from Mark Arcobello inside the right circle of the San Antonio zone and rifled a one timer past San Antonio goalie Scott Clemmensen to give the Barons a 3-1 lead at 17:44 of the first that they never relinquished.

With two assists in the game, Arcobello extended his point streak to 13 games, tallying at least a single point in each game he's played this season as a member of the Barons.

Oklahoma City goaltender Richard Bachman made 37 saves on the night for his 20th win of the season.

The Barons got on the scoreboard exactly one minute into the game when an Austin Fyten pass deflected off another player's stick and into the Rampage slot, where Tyler Pitlick picked it up and flipped it past San Antonio goalie Scott Clemmensen for a 1-0 Barons lead exactly one minute into the game.

Halfway through the period, San Antonio knotted the score at one goal apiece when Colby Robak received a pass from Greg Rallo and rifled a slap shot from inside the right circle that skidded past Bachman.

Following a slashing penalty to San Antonio's Drew Shore at the 12:39 mark of the first, Oklahoma City took a 2-1 lead when Hunt received a cross-ice pass from Arcobello and fired a one timer past Clemmensen.

Lander's goal extended Oklahoma City's lead to 4-2 at 17:44 of the first period.

In the closing seconds of the first, San Antonio cut the Barons' lead when Ryan Whitney blasted a slap shot from just inside the Oklahoma City blue line that evaded traffic and sailed past Bachman. Whitney's power play goal came after a hooking penalty to Oklahoma City's David Musil at the 19:16 mark, making the score 3-2.

Oklahoma City extended its lead to 4-2 at 6:24 of the second, when Brandon Davidson sent a drive from the point that tipped off of Will Acton's stick just in front of the Rampage net and trickled past Clemmensen.

Matthew Ford added a goal at 11:39 of the third, when he received a Lander pass just in front of the Rampage net and flipped it past Clemmensen. Ford's goal came on the power play, with San Antonio's Quinton Howden having been whistled for elbowing one minute earlier.

With the win, the Barons improved to 29-24-1-7 on the season and 4-0-0-1 in March, while San Antonio dropped to 24-25-3-6.

The Barons are back in action at 7 p.m. Friday night at the Cox Convention Center, when they take on the Grand Rapids Griffins.
