3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Langston Area

An earthquake rocked residents near Langston, Oklahoma, Tuesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey, a 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded at about 8 a.m.

Its epicenter was located three miles south, southwest of Langston, eight miles east of Guthrie, 18 mile southwest of Stillwater, and 32 miles north, northeast of Oklahoma City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was about three miles deep. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake was 3.7 in magnitude.

Some News 9 viewers near Langston and Guthrie reported feeling this earthquake. No injuries or damage have been reported, as of 8:30 a.m.
