One Injured In Collision Involving Semi In Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City emergency crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck Friday morning.

According to Oklahoma City police, crews responded to the crash just before 6:30 a.m. on Rockwell over Interstate 40.

The semi driver told police that he was going westbound on I-40 when he fell asleep behind the wheel, and crossed several lanes of traffic.

The semi truck then hit a Saturn on Rockwell. The driver of the Saturn suffered minor injuries, and has been transported to the hospital.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area as crews work to clear the scene of the crash.
