Jury Selection Underway For OKC Pastor Charged With Murder

Jury selection has begun in the trial of an Oklahoma City pastor charged in the killing of his estranged son-in-law.

Michael Elder sat at a table with his attorney during the proceedings inside the Oklahoma County Courthouse on Monday.

Police say Elder shot Gary Davidson February 20, 2013 at Davidson's home in northwest Oklahoma City. Davidson had recently filed for divorce from Elder's daughter, April.

According to court documents, the shooting stemmed from a fight Gary and April were having over a pickup truck in both their names.

Elder was the pastor at The Cross Baptist Church on S.W. 96th Street in Oklahoma City.
