Over the last five months, Oklahoma City police have responded to three larceny calls at a central Oklahoma City optometry office.

Leadership Square Eyecare, located at 211 N. Robinson Ave., reported three different larceny complaints in September, November and February.

On September 24, 2013, police responded to the first larceny complaint reported by one of the clinic's optometrists.

According to the report, the optometrist told police a white male with gray hair and a medium build visited the clinic around 2:15 p.m. on September 17, 2013. The suspect told the optometrist he needed his frames fixed, and then he browsed the sale eye care products while waiting.

Police confirmed the video surveillance showed the suspect putting a pair of sunglass frames and a sunglass case in his pocket. The stolen merchandise valued at $257.

On November 21, 2013, the Practice Administrator contacted authorities about a second larceny occurrence at Leadership Square Eyecare.

In the report, the employee described two suspects: a white female in her 20s with long brown hair, and a white male, early 20s, also with brown hair. The employee told police the suspects came in to the clinic on November 20, 2013. The female suspect distracted the employee by asking questions, while the male suspect pocketed three pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses, valued at $750.

The most recent larceny complaint occurred just after 1 p.m. February 10. The employee told authorities a suspect walked into the clinic, selected two pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses and left without paying. The value of the stolen eyewear was $800.

Police reviewed the video surveillance and confirmed a male suspect entered the clinic wearing blue jeans, a white winter cover, a black jacket, red T-shirt, a dark-colored hoodie and light-colored shoes.

Authorities have identified a connection between the three larceny cases.
