A 16-year-old Texas girl who was injured in a skydiving accident in Chickasha has had one of her wishes granted.

Makenzie Wethington is recovering at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas. Her family posted on social media about her disappointment over missing the Harlem Globetrotters game in Dallas because of her injuries. She still wished she could meet the team.

Globetrotter's star Bull Bullard got word of Wethington, and made a surprise appearance earlier this week. He even shared a story about a time he was hurt playing basketball.

"I got a cut over my eye and dislocated my shoulder. I was off for two months," Bullard said.

Wethington also did a few tricks with Bullard during the special visit.

During the accident, Wethington suffered a broken pelvis, lumbar spine, a broken shoulder, tooth, and several broken ribs. Amazingly, she required no surgery for any of her injuries. And she took her first steps on Monday, February 3.
