I recently launched the Kelly Ogle Food Fun and Facts tour to show my teenagers some of my favorite spots in Oklahoma, knowing, of course, that delicious food at famous restaurants would be a great hook.

We did Ponca City last weekend. Here's what some of you are saying,

Margaret first: "I commend you for helping your children experience Oklahoma!"

Gayle suggests: "Glass (or Gloss) Mountains, digging for crystals at the Salt Plains, Alabaster caverns, the sand dunes near Waynoka."

Planning on that one Gayle.

Annice says: "How about a trip to Robbers Cave state park in Wilburton for hiking and a stop at Krebs Pete's Place for best Italian food ever."

That might be our next trip.

Dana writes: "Thanks for the great idea!!"

From Chad: "I take an Oklahoma history trip every few months. I love this state!!"

David says: "I've been to all 77 Counties, famous landmarks, eateries, Sports stadiums/ campuses! From Broken Bow to Kenton.."

Linda's done the same with her kids and writes: "..handed each one a map-the one who found the cities listed on the highway first got to pick where and what we had for dinner!"

Whitney writes: "Make it extra special by taking back roads and learning about each town you're passing through!"

Finally from Carol: "The ultimate in parent teaching and sharing of valuable memories with you teenagers. Awesome."
