A man on the Texas Department of Public Safety's 10 Most Wanted sex offender list has been caught in Oklahoma after disappearing from a Dallas halfway house Friday.

Pittsburg County Sheriff Joel Kerns says deputies arrested Robert Grunsfeld, 51, Monday afternoon in the parking lot of a Taco Bell in McAlester.

Kerns says his office got a tip about Grunsfeld.

Records show Grunsfeld has convictions for aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault, plus burglary, fraud and carrying a prohibited weapon.

In 2010, Grunsfeld was ordered to live at a Dallas halfway house to participate in the civil commitment program.

Texas officials say Grunsfeld intentionally cut off his electronic ankle monitor before heading to Oklahoma.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
