An attempted child abduction Monday afternoon in Northwest Oklahoma City has police agencies and area school districts on alert.

Twelve-year-old Anthony Morejon says he was throwing around a baseball on a street next to his parents' house at N.W. 119th Street and Blue Sky Drive, when two men in a dark-colored car drove up.

Anthony says the men were wearing hoodies, and told him they had candy and a puppy in their car. Morejon says he ran to his parents' house. His mother Maria called 911.

"It was really scary when he came running into the house and his eyes were popping out of his head. I said what's the matter? What's the matter, and he couldn't talk."

Police say the two suspects are white males. The car they were driving is dark blue or teal in color, and it had rust spots in several places.
